Classical Paganism

The Antonine Imperium website is dedicated to supporting the revival and restoration of the Classical Pagan polytheistic religions and cults of ancient Greece and Rome, in all of their diversity and variety, in both form and spirit.

We are devoted to the Diis Immortales, the Immortal Gods. We explore and celebrate the Pagan art and culture of the civilization created by the ancient Greeks and Romans, which reached its culmination in the Roman Empire.

Our primary areas of interest are religion and art, and our primary inspiration is provided by Hellenistic Greece and Imperial Rome, although the entire period from the Heroic Age of the Myceneans in 1600 bce to the last days of the pagan Roman Empire in 500 ce is included within our area of interest. Antoninia is named after the Antonine Emperors of ancient Rome, who presided over one of the high points of ancient Western civilization.

The Antonine Imperium

Antoninia, the Antonine Imperium, is an independent organization designed in the form of an idealized, non-territorial, sovereign state dedicated to the Immortal Gods, with an official state religion called Classical Paganism. The organization is largely theoretical in nature at the present time.
